Aylard Farm Orienteering
June 14th 2015 1:00pm - 2:00pm
Organizer: Chris Ling (Event Director)
It proved to be challenging event at Aylard Farm, with the gorgeous scenery and stunning weather belying some fearsome terrain and challenging navigation. Many did not finish - although one relative newcomer, Tobi, managed a pretty good run on the C4 course. Roger was mis-allocated a map at the start and did the C3 instead of the C4 in a respectable time, but Marie wasn't all that far behind.
Great runs from Andrea, Adrienne and Jesse on the C2 - maybe time to step up a gear at Beaver Lake at the end of August?
Thanks to Scott for running the SI, John for help at the start and Jade for acting as bagman,
Location: Aylard Farm, East Sooke Park

- Course 3.5 (Short Advanced) approx 3.5 km - control flags will be mostly off-trail. More route choice and compass work required.
- Course 4 (Advanced) approx 5 km - controls off-trail and in challenging terrain, lots of route choice, most physically demanding course.
