Thanks to everyone who came out in the drizzle for a slippery techniclal sprint.  Despite the mediocre weather, we had a record turnout with 44 competitors (or groups)!  The results are posted to the left.  We are working on getting the Splits posted as well for those who like to obsess over details.  A huge thank you to everyone who helped with setup, cleanup, registration and control pickup, it was most appreciated!

Time: Registration 12-12:45PM, First start at 1PM  ** Remember, Daylight Savings Time is today!!   **

Assembly: Main trail / center grassy area of High Rock Park in Esquimalt.  You can get to the main trail from Cairn Rd off Old Esquimalt, or from Matheson Avenue off Rockheights Ave.  There is limited parking on Cairn Rd. 

Format: Classic "B" meet with staggered starts beginning at 1pm, one minute apart - (we changed it from mass start due to the course length and Daylight Savings Time to accomodate latecomers).  Collect all controls in order.  There will be two courses, beginner and advanced.  This is a smaller map with lots of controls and two different courses, so be sure to check your control descriptions closely, and watch who you follow!  We will be using SI for this event with our newly purchased SI stations and split printer (instead of the old hole-punch system), so look forward to comparing splits with other runners!


Adults: $8 plus $5 yearly membership (membership is free for first-time participants).
Juniors (under 18) : $5 plus $5 yearly membership (membership is free for first-time participants). 
Groups/Families: If you wish to do the course as a group and share a map, only a single $8 fee applies. 

You will need an SI stick for this event - these can be rented from the registration table for $2 if you don't have one.
