VICO Social and AGM for 2025
Come out to socialize, have fun and discuss the plans for 2026 for the Victoria Orienteering Club. We are eager for some fresh ideas of what types of events or training activities you would like like to see for VICO in 2026. We'll also have some fun games and map-related activities. Every active club member is welcome! Please feel free to bring a spouse or significant other. We hope to keep any formal meeting to a minimum, but will try to cover the following topics:
- provide input on future events for 2026
- discuss any potential new mapped areas
- discuss club clothing (we need more club jerseys!)
- volunteers, organizers and executive positions
In addition some fun stuff:
- how well do you armchair orienteer? Challenge yourself with some fun orienteering quizzes and games
- enjoy a presentation and map sharing by orienteers who attended major events in last couple of years
Included in our discussion will be short presentation on MapRun - a way to orienteer as a self-directed activity using our existing maps within the Victoria area. This is a great way to add to your orienteering adventures. As a bonus for attending, we will provide you with some existing MapRun courses plus a bonus new map, so you can give this a try!

What to Bring: Please bring your fresh ideas and a snack to share.
Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided - feel free to bring anything extra you want to share.
