UVIC ORIENTEERING!

Welcome to Fall - and a nice Orienteering Refresher. This will be a traditional Orienteering course - collect all the controls in order, travelling as fast as you can. Two courses will be available:

Beginner - shorter, approx 2 km, with easy navigation and controls on trail or large features,

Intermediate/Advanced - longer, approx 5 km, with more intricate navigation in more complex terrain

What to Bring: Warm clothes suitable for running in autumn weather. A compass to keep your map oriented is optional - UVic has many landmarks and it's fairly easy to orient yourself without a compass.

Cost/Registration:$5 for Junior participants, $15 for Adults. Your entry will include a SportIdent (SI) chip rental if needed, or you can use your own. Registration, waiver and payment are all done in one location using our Zone4 system. REGISTRATION LINK : https://zone4.ca/register.asp?id=39694
