2023 is ancient history! Let's meet to discuss the club events for 2024 and discuss all the exciting things coming down the pipeline for Victoria Orienteering. We'll also have some fun games and map-related activities. Everyone is welcome!
- Discuss advanced orienteering techniques via Route-gadget demo by Linda. Route-gadget is a website that allows you to simulate and replay an orienteering event showing all participants using their SI Splits and/or GPS data. It's both entertaining and satisfying to watch.
-Peruse some maps from off-island events such as Cranbrook and past Vancouver Sprint-Camp events.
-Orienteering Brain Teaser games.
Discussion of what's coming soon:
-The BC Orienteering Championships are being hosted by VICO in Victoria this year!
-New Club printer/tablet to make WET events easier and mapping easier
-New map updates for VICO (Uvic and Thunderbird) coming soon!
-A call for volunteers for 2024 events
-Snacks, beverages and good times!

Registration : Please register if you're coming (click button on the right of this page) so I have a rough idea of numbers
Light food and beverages will be provided - feel free to bring anything extra you want to share. We'll endeavour to have a variety of interesting Orienteering trivia / games and maps to peruse.
Notes : Parking is limited - so please park on the street (San Juan) or on Robinwood Place and walk through Majestic park, or at Majestic Park and walk through the park.
