VICO concludes the Determinator Series!

The final has a handicapped start with pre-set start times based on your performance in the series so far.

When: Wednesday June 14th 2023 - Pre-register online at link below.

If you do not wish to take part in the determinator you may start at any time, but must return by 8pm.

Course closes at 8pm.

Where: Determinator #5 (FINAL) will take place at Hatley Park - note, we are not using parking on campus. Start is at the park entrance at Metchosin Rd and Terrahue Rd (if you put 406 Terrahue Rd into your GPS it will get you there). See map to meeting location. There is ample street parking in the area but later runners should leave plenty of time to ensure you find a space and get to the start.

Courses: There will be two courses offered:

  • Determinator Course (4.8km) - the final is NOT GOAT - you must visit every control!
  • Easy Course (3km) - intended for those brand new to orienteering.
Cost: $15 for adults, $5 for juniors (under 13)

What to Bring: Wear light clothes suitable for running. Any decent running shoes or trail runners. No leg covering needed for this event. Compass is optional for urban terrain, but will be needed for events in forest areas.

Registration Details: Register prior to the event with our new Zone4 registration system. Register, pay and sign waivers all in one shot. Show up and just race! Link to Registration

See you out there!
