Camosun Interurban/Layritz Park

Details: The event will be a typical B-level competition event with three courses available to suit orienteers of various experience and abilities. Beginner orienteers are always welcome. Courses have been specifically designed to accommodate a wide range of competitors and the event is open to all members of the public. This a good event for those new to orienteering, and those who wish to challenge themselves by trying the more advanced courses. Courses offered will be as follows:
- Course 1 (Beginner) approx 1.8 km - Good for total beginners.
- Course 2 (Intermediate) approx 2 km - Longer course, fast paced
- Course 3 (Advanced) approx 4.3 km (or more, depending on your route choices) - Score-O - Collect as many controls as possible within the time limit
Cost: $5 for Junior participants $8 for Adults. This event will include SportIdent Timing. SI Sticks will be available for rent for $2.
Registration: Meet at the back parking lot behind Interurban Camosun - enter off Interurban Rd and follow Markham and look right just past Camosun Trades Building, or enter off West Saanich Rd an enter off Markham and drive around past the Tech Park.
