VICO presents : A classic Summer Orienteering Event at Royal Roads University : The campus is a sprawling nature wonderland and has much to offer : lush forests, trails, sandy beaches and amazing views! Be prepared for some top notch Orienteering!
Event Format : Classic Point-to-Point Orienteering Race. Get all the controls in order as fast as you can. There will be three courses to choose from : Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced.
Where : Royal Roads University, lower parking lot. Lots of parking available - bring a friend!
When : Starts between 12:45 and 1:15pm
Who : Everyone is welcome! This event is suitable for beginners and experienced orienteers.
Cost : $8 plus the cost of an SI stick rental if you do not own one ($2)
What to bring : Yourself, and good trail running shoes! Leg protection and carrying a compass are recommended if you are doing the Advanced course.
