Details: Uvic is a delightful place to orienteer, especially for those ready to try a new experience. The map has been recently updated. Highly experienced Carl Coger has designed great courses for all levels of orienteers to enjoy, hopefully in Victoria's predictably pleasant September weather!

Newcomers are always welcome. We'll give you some basic instructions to get you started. Bring your own compass (or borrow one from us) and whistle (or buy one from us).

Where: Event Registration is at Parking Lot 2, near the McKinnon Gym. Enter from McKenzie Avenue. , Parking is free on Sundays.

Registration: 1230 pm to 1 pm, near McKinnon Gym. Beginners please come a bit early.

Starts: Starts from 1:00 - 1:45 pm Course closure (control pick-up time) 3:45 pm

Courses: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced courses carefully graded levels from beginner to advanced. Timed starts, using the Sport Ident system which gives you precise timing splits to compare at the end. (bring your own “SI card” or you can borrow one for the day for $2)

Bring: Wear running clothes suited to the weather. Compass highly recommended.

Fee: Annual membership: $5 (free for 2012 if this is your very first event) Event fee: $8 per adult.
