Routegadget

This is the first day of Daylight Savings Time.

Don't forget to set your clocks forward Saturday night!


This will be a classic meet consisting of three courses of varying difficulty : Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced.

C-1 Beginner 2.5 km: all controls on trails or obvious features.

C-2 Intermediate 4.0 km: controls placed off trails but not overly difficult.

C-3 Advanced 7.9 km. longest course with many controls being more difficult to find or requiring the use of a compass.

Registration : From 12.30pm. Parking: Parking Lot 1

Starts : Staggered starts from 1pm onward.

Course : Classic meet - obtain all controls in order as quickly as you can. Course closes at 3:30pm

Cost: $8 per map + $2 for SI stick rental. This event uses SI timing which allow you to track your time between controls. An SI stick is required - bring your own or rent one for $2. VICO Membership required - if this is your first time trying Orienteering, membership is free for the first year. Renewing members, membership is $5 per year.

Preregistration : To give us an idea of how many maps to print, we’d appreciate it if you could either register for the event on our web site by clicking +REGISTER on the right. We will print maps based on the Start List. Please register on this website to give us a good idea if you plan to come.
