VICO Christmas Party/Armchair O

As we wrap-up the 2017 Orienteering Season, it is time to celebrate! The VicO Christmas Party / Armchair O will take place on Sat 18 Nov commencing at 6:00 pm. Here are some of the key details:
- this event is a pot-luck (please bring a savoury snack item or dessert item to share)
- we will combine opportunities to socialize with a few 'Armchair O' activities to talk about past orienteering adventures, to include
- a fun game to learn more about IOF symbols
- discussions on route choice with the help of route-gadget
- sharing of past orienteering adventures/maps by those who attended events 'off-island'
- we will also engage in a brief discussion on how the club is doing on membership/finances and revealing the events we are considering for 2018 (input is appreciated!!)
Please bring a food item and perhaps your favourite beverage. Some finger foods and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided. Also, if you attended an event 'off-island' please bring your maps and be prepared to share what awesome orienteering opportunities are out there. (Leigh - please bring the maps from your excellent adventures in the US)
