Thank you to the rather large group of participants who didn't let the previous hour of rain put them off enjoying the sites of the Esquimalt South map. Also thanks to Leigh Bailey and Andrea Gagnon for help with registration. We hope a good time was had by all. The results below indicate quite clearly that even groups walking fast and efficiently, having a good route plan and returning within the 90 minute time limit can out-score even a jogger or runner.
Welcome to all the newcomers too. We hope you will consider coming to our next event at Royal Roads, Feb 26th, where you will get a good taste of a standard set orienteering course in a forest with much more challenging navigation to natural features.
