This event will take place at the main Aylard Farm parking lot accessed off Beecher Bay Rd.

Registration and Parking: Registration will be open by 11:30am.  Lots of parking available.

Starts: Orienteering starts at 1:00pm. Staggered starts (not mass start)

Finish: Finish is at the finish banner beside the meeting tent (and goodies).

Courses: There will be four courses available for runners of various skill levels.  Beginner course has all controls on trail, intermediate course has a few controls just off the trail.  Advanced course will offer a greater challenge with controls well off trail and Expert will require superior navigation skills in order collect all controls.  Course closure is 4:00pm for all courses (3 hour time limit) - Please respect this course closure time, so we can do award announcements, and pick up controls.

!Note: Expert course is over 1km longer than last year. :)

Bring: a compass and whistle (mandatory). Wear clothing that is suitable for running. Long pants are recommended due to the Salal in the park.

SI: This event will be using Sport-Ident punching. Bring your stick or $2 to rent one

Cost: $8 per map + $2 if you need to rent an SI stick. Membership required. (Free for first-time participants)

Preregistration: To give us an idea of how many maps to print, we’d appreciate it if you could either register for the event on our web site by clicking +REGISTER on the right. We will print maps based on the Start List. Please do register on this website to give us a good idea if you plan to come.
